NAVROZE S. MEHTA
Founder and CEO
Navroze Mehta, Founder and CEO of ClearSpec LLC, has 15 years of experience in developing early stage medical devices. Most recently he was Managing Partner of MDI Partners LLC where he used a unique innovation and development framework to bring devices to market. One of those spin outs is ClearSpec LLC. Prior to MDI Partners, he was the Founder and Vice Chairman of NovaVision Inc. (www.novavision.com), a venture-backed company providing neurostimulation devices to restore vision in stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. Before that he was President and CEO of Skinstore (www.skinstore.com) a successful B2C company. Navroze is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), past chair of the Americas Gateway Chapter, and served as Regional Chair of the Economic Development Network. He is also an active member of the Ashoka Support Network (www.ashoka.org), a leader in the field of social entrepreneurship. Navroze also co-founded Mela Artisans Inc. (www.melaartisans.com) with his daughter Sonali Mehta Rao. Mela Artisans is a novel social for profit enterprise that was formed to create a global marketplace for artisans worldwide with a goal of preserving the livelihood of artisans. Navroze also served on the Board of Directors of Mission Markets Inc., a company that is focused on connecting impact investors to mission-focused organizations. Navroze received an MBA from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College at the University of Bombay, India.
SUZANNE G. MAIR
Vice President of Operations
Suzanne Mair, Vice President of Operations at ClearSpec LLC, has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry both as a Hospital Administrator with Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center and as a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager with large medical-surgical manufacturers and distributors including Allegiance Healthcare and Cardinal Healthcare. Suzanne has worked extensively with medical products and devices. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering she served as Chairperson of the Hospital Product Evaluation Committee. As a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager she has worked with physicians and clinical staff to standardize supplies and procedures in the operating room and throughout the hospital. Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and a Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University.

MAX RONY FRANCOIS, M.D.

Dr. Francois is currently the Director for Public Health Services and Public Health Emergency Officer at the Naval Health Clinic in Corpus Christi, Texas. His previous positions include: Immediate Past Director of Public Health and State Health Officer for the State of Georgia; Assistant Secretary of the Louisiana Office of Public Health; Assistant Professor in the Colleges of Medicine and Public Health, University of South Florida (USF); and perhaps most notably, Secretary and State Health Officer of the Florida Department of Health from 2005 to 2007. Dr. François is the recipient of numerous awards including the Presidential Meritorious Award from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, Outstanding New American Award from Catholic Charities Legal Services, Outstanding Leadership of a Faculty Advisor (USF), induction into the University of Central Florida (UCF) Athletics Hall of Fame, and several alumni awards from USF, UCF, and Tallahassee Community College. Dr. Francois is the inventor of ClearSpec®. He earned his MA in Exercise Physiology from the University of Central Florida, and his MD, MSPH, and Ph.D. (Toxicology/Public Health) degrees from USF.
STEVEN J. FERN, M.D., FACOG

Steven J Fern, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist in Florida that has been in practice for almost eighteen years.
Dr. Fern specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. He also has expertise in the management of excessive menstrual bleeding and in procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids, and endometrial ablation. He is a partner of OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches with an office located in Wellington, Florida.
In 2008 Dr. Fern started a company called Fern Innovations for the sole purpose of developing products that aid health care practitioners and their patients. He is the creator of KleenGel, and serves as an advisor for various other medical device companies.
Dr. Fern is a New Jersey native and has received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Fern chose this specialty because he considered it the best opportunity to offer preventative care for women in all stages of life. “It is a field that offers a doctor the honor of assisting in the joy of birth and the satisfaction of aiding in the prevention of cancer and other common diseases as women age.” In addition to his medical achievements, Dr. Fern has served as a past chief of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wellington Regional Medical Center. He is involved in many organizations including: The American Medical Association, Florida OB/GYN Society, Palm Beach OB/GYN Society, and ACOG-Fellow.
Dr. Fern is married and has three children.
